An amusing story about John, 313 techno and nothing to do with Racist Ruins
of Detroit (sorry Devolve, you can use this as a bathroom break)....
John once told me a story about one of the first parties he helped throw way
back in the early 90s (I'm thinking '91 or '92). Richie Hawtin and John
Acquaviva were on the lineup, and he paid Acquaviva $250, and Richie got a
whopping $175. There was also something about Richie getting mad because
they were charging people $10 to get in, and apparently that was considered
"outrageous" at the time.
