They were both put out by Motown Records orginally. The first one was the precursor to to the "I Have a Dream" and recorded in Detroit at Cobo I believe. The speech was preceded by "the great march of freedom" down Woodward. This is the verision featured on TP's Blackwater remix. The record is called "The Great March to Freedom."
The second is the more famous speech at Washington DC, which I'm sure most of you have heard by now. This one is called "The Great March on Washington" I hope this helps. I could go into further detail on the history of the recordings, if you would like. -Kevin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Maarten Baute" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, August 31, 2003 3:49 PM Subject: (313) martin > Hi, > > there were some records released with Martin Luther King speeches on it.
