There is a great new LP of snippets of speeches from various famous activists and organizers out that includes clips from MLK Jr. The proceeds benefit the freedom archives which collect and make available recordings of speeches and lectures on the topic of social justice. Heres the description from http://www.freedomarchives.org/vinyl.htm:

The Vinyl Project is a tool for DJs, musicians, MCs, activists and most of all the people. The soundbites on this record include chilling voices on repression and glimmering assertations of resistance. The Vinyl Project collective hopes these sounds will pollinate your beats, noise, melodies and community.

It looks like 313's own Twerk mastered it, actually, so it has to be good! I've got a track on my site http://www.hurlbotics.com/mp3/silent2vocalmix2.mp3 with samples of MLK Jr.'s infamous Riverside Church speech made a year to the day before he was assassinated, in which he spoke out against the Vietnam War and declared " My country, the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today". For some reason this one doesn't get touted about in the media so much as the I Have a Dream Speech, but perhaps is equally as important.
