Cheers! I do have a tendency to waffle a bit, especially on a Monday afternoon as it makes the time go by a bit faster... :)
I was just thinking that after I got heavily into techno (which was in 1991), it was only a few years before it suddenly became absolutely huge, with the Tribal Gatherings and the superclubs suddenly blowing up. And did it affect my enjoyment of the whole scene? Not in the slightest... so if techno is going to suddenly undergo another big surge in interest, that's not exactly something we're all unfamiliar with. It'll all blow over in a few years, and then we'll all be back to playing for free and losing hundreds of pounds putting out records that only fifty people worldwide are interested in... (yeah, it is a pretty quiet afternoon actually! :) Brendan http://www.non-stop-djs.com - some mix action http://www.lunarselector.com - some more mix action http://www.313party.com - some photo action > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 20 October 2003 17:05 > To: [email protected] > Subject: RE: (313) Pete Tong > > > > phew! almost too much for my brain to handle. > > tell you what though, I think you made some excellent points > there Brendan, > stuff I hadn't thought of in that way etc. > nice one. > > It was just a bit of an eye-opener to me to hear Pete Tong > playing that > sort of thing really, and then I was sat in the pub scratching my head > about it with my mate.
