<big snip>That story about Kenny Larkin is salutory to me. Alas I feel it's only reflective of what things are really like in'the world' outside, this particular cocoon of futuristic music. Sometimes it's wise to remind yourself that as well as being entertainers, these artists are often men (usually, and the gender is important) with a message. And it pays to go that extra mile to try to realize what it is.
