You try and keep me away from a Bleep party
BTW The Secret History album launch was fantastic.
Good to finally meet Alex Bond - nice one mate.
Kirk De Gioigio played a fun Ableton set of big tunes and Alex and the
other DJ (Dan someone?) played excellent eclectic sets that me and Tristan were
flailing about drunkenly to - I remember dancing to The Cure's Close To Me and
Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill with big grin on my face - nice eye candy
too!;-)

saw this on LD but I wondered what he thought of the actual
music and the album
as all Mike rants on about it is Skint, the venue, prices of
drinks and DC's pre-madonna
state. .. don't get me wrong I am not saying he shouldn't
and I am sorry he felt like that
after the night as no one should feel like this.. but its the
music I am intrested in...

Hi Garrington - do me a favour and pass onto the elite
313 world my little
thoughts on this matter
What a bloody rip off.
We got there at about 9.30pm
The £15 admission had made its way to £17.50 (for a
Thursday night)
so they'd managed to con about 60 people which nicked
them £150
that's assuming most of the 70 people there were'nt on
the guest list.
There were two queens dressed in stetsons and long
black coats
walking back and forth across the dance floor, barging
into people,
shouldering people out of the way with a nonchalant
contempt for everyone.
(Weatherall was brilliant : rocked the place nicely)
The air was freezing in side , the bar was charging
£3.50
to pour drinks into plastic cups. The side door kept
opening
for a heavily mascarred Dave Clarke to look out to see
if there was any
more
people in.
He was supposed to play from 9.30 - 11.00 but waited
until 10.30 before
finally coming on and played for exactly one
hour.
I could see the brain working "given them their money's
worth = that's
enough for them".
And promptly at 12.00pm 2 hours early they shut the gaff
What a 4king rip-off. All courtesy of Skint records.
They should be ashamed : no wonder the bloody scene is
dying on its legs
With Cnuts like that ripping it off for everything they
can
A disgrace to Techno - that's all I can say.
Absolute 4king rip off
4king Skint Records
