Strange, I would say the Hot on the Heels (which you like) was pretty much a blueprint for the Chris and Cosey sound. They certainly came closest to pursuing that sound out of all of the post-TG projects. Remember also, at this stage, Chris Carter probably had more musical input into TG than the rest of the band put together.
