Musically, I really don't think this is the case. Sleazy did develop his musical input over time, but was initailly really just there in a "consulting" role and was responsible for visuals, etc. Just how gifted Gen is musically is demonstrated by the awful standard of most PTV releases after Sleazy, Balance, Tibet, etc left him to his own devices.
