this isnt bad news for the record companies as much as it is for the
distribution networks.

record labels serve many purposes, among them being prestige and a
recognized sound.  if I tell you somethings on minus for instance, you're
gonna know what to expect more than picking people randomly online and going
by a 5-word description of "what genre" the music is.  and apples not gonna
press up records for you :)    besides, it would probably be green
see-through vinyl with a giant white apple in the center...
