I didn't mean to be pining for the "old days" - new techno artists have
always been welcome in my book
what I meant was there seems to be a few artists who never really released
a lot of music but what they did release was always well received. Problem
was they either DJ'd more than they produced or completely dropped off the
map for a while.

I don't expect to hear their new music and have it sound exactly like what
they were doing back in '95 or '97 - I'd be disappointed actually if it did

Re-issues are fine for building excitement about what was but I'm wishing
that it is a signal to expect something new soon
I hope that's what all these re-issues are signalling - " this is where we
were but look out for what is to come" sort of thing
