the way i heard it was that he was shopping 2 albums (one being dark
comedy), but the peacefrog is those 2 albums combined and minus "filler"?
heard it from some dude who works at a label that was considering the albums
before peacefrog, but maybe he's mistaken. and since i now count 3 albums
being mentioned, maybe there is still at least 1 more out there.
i really like the idea of a "techno blues" style even if its just a new name
for something thats been around...i've always heard a lot of the blues
feeling in lots of the deepest (and my favorite) detroit stuff, and finally
here is a nice marketing name for it...plus i just love the idea of some
super walter davis inspired techno or something..my favorite theo stuff has
a lot of blues in it i think..
I've heard that one of the other 2 lps is a Dark Comedy album. Don't know
much more than that though.
