makes sense. it lit up faster than most sounds, so it makes sense that it would burn out quicker.
that's not to say that there's not still tons of people doing the robot out there. from what i've heard recently, quality music is still taking some of the melodic vocal punk-rock elemnents and doign cool stuff. although- it mostly by people who were doing ggood stuff before the fad. but people's ears are more open to it now. see: new two lone swordsmen cobra killer sex in dallas !!! a lot of stuff on output recordings a million other things 'm blanking on right now.
