i think Miss Kittin became internationally "famous" around 1998, with her participation to the electro-rock revival, "electroclash" or whatever you call it. But for me has always been a "rave" DJ. I think i first heard her name around 1993, and i remember back in thoses days on french radio, they used to call "electronic music" as "rave music", neither techno nor house, just "rave"... And she was one of the very few girl DJ spinning "rave music". So when she did "champagne EP" with the Hackerin 1997, for me it was just 'fun'... but..Miss Kittin stays in my heart very "techno"...and not this electroclash leader...NOWAY !!! ! ! ! She loves to make some very groovy techno sets with thoses chicago clapz and bang boom !!! :)
