sorry to hear about that misadventure, alex. my puppy oscar has destroyed numerous things since we got him. yesterday i caught him running around with a $10 bill in his mouth! and it wasn't like he just had the corner of it, the whole d_mn bill was in his mouth. if i hadn't been wondering what he was chewing on, he would have eaten it whole, i'm sure. lucky that i noticed. re: vinyl: about a month ago he went haywire on the two records that happened to be at the front of my pile at the time: the first release on foundsounds (someone else and miskate with a remix from matthew dear) and my coral way chiefs on murk. he destroyed the paper covers and the inserts and was halfway through destroying the records themselves when my wife caught him. i say halfway because only one side of the someone else + record now plays properly (the side with the matthew dear remix) and only one side of the murk now plays (luckily the side he destroyed already had some skips in it, so if he had to destroy one side, he picked the right one). needless to say, all of my records are now out of harm (er, canine)'s way. andrew
