any decent house is inspirational - you don't have to be a christian.
that's what so great about dancing - it's a spiritual experience that comes
from transcending the self and being part of a communal activity.
every seen the church scene from 'the harder they come'? - the way people
are moving, the beatific smiles on their faces - it looks like a great
evening on the dancefloor.
if you've ever been to a good gospel service in full flight it's hard not
to see the similarity to clubbing.

Moreece and TP are, as everyone should know by now, confirmed
Christians, and they play music that combines house beats with the
spirit of gospel straight out of the black churches. You don't have
to buy the religion to appreciate the spirit. Or hey, you can
appreciate the positive vibe and assign it to whatever diety or
philosophy you want.

I've had long talks with TP about his faith and what he hopes to do
with his music, and I've never felt preached to or proselytized, and
he's said that he doesn't care what people believe as long as they
live right and love each other.

And on a more concrete note -- TP picks the absolute JAMZ from all the
gospel house records being made, so you don't have to listen to all
the wack tracks.
