ok ok ok....alot of people have read into this WAY too much, and
rightfully so. as when mani wrote it i know he was trying to get a
reaction from it. we all know it was'nt the best way to say it....but like
i said it was HIS words and i think he was TRYING to get a reaction, which
some of you fell into hook line and sinker....even though it was not even
directed at you or this list really....the message was posted to this list
as it was to MANY other lists i think in an effort to let people know that
mani is changing how his agency does business....

For the last week mani and cisco from the advent have been sitting here at
my house with other dj's/ promoters on the west coast disscusing this
topic...i think anyone who heard it would understand the full context of
all of this ....(at least those of you who have seen the American techno
scene)....it was not a europe bashing session...i mean jeeesh cisco was
here and i would say is a good representative of the European techno
scene...i mean cmon do you guys think we were all sitting around saying screw
europe lets not support them..... ohh except you cisco......

so once again i am sorry if this ruffled everyones feathers but a friend
asked me to post it to this list and i do think its relevent......and
don't you people think that i understand Europes inpact on the American
scene i would invite anyone to look at my collection....I have what most
people would consider alot of records and own huge sections of
R&S,DJAX,BUZZ,TRESOR,WARP,NOVAMUTE,HARDWAX,as well as many
other....records that i PAID for
and i thank Europe and the people who made them in my head everytime i
listen to one of
those gems.....

for once it would be nice to see someone like Jason Brunton or many
others, to come over to our neck of the woods and play a nice party for
2-3 thousand people who love techno....

so there now more tiesto bashing as i do think fred had a real good point ...

Why fight over the crumbs when you should be blowing up the bakery

and p.s i hate politics of the government kind so i aint even gonna try to
address those issues as they are not mine...
