"just outside of town" is nuts, its got a couple of heavily
sampled tracks (beats from "straight out the jungle" and "by the
time i get to arizona" most famously) and is just one of my
favorite funk albums. they have a couple other nice albums (the
one with the mandrill on the cover is dope, i havent been able to
find an original and i dont really buy represses of funk joints)
as well.
im not sure what classifies as "psychedelic soul", ive never
really thought about soul music like that.
