Ok.

I know this is probably going to start a row, but, hey ho, its Friday.

""The founder of Rockstar Games ... came here when Mike Banks was working
on construction of the Submerge building. And basically, Mike Banks is
not really down for commercial exploitation of his music whatsoever. So
he gave him the big Mad Mike UR speech and kicked him out," said Ade
Henderson-Mainor, president of Submerge Recordings. "But J.D. Simpson,
our general counsel for Submerge, kept the relationship alive for years.
When I came on board in 2002, we were able to rekindle that relationship."

So what did UR do, change their mind?!!

You know, to be honest, I can't really see whats all that wrong with it in
the first place. If the company don't ask you to change the music at all,
then you're not really compromising yourself are you?

or am I missing something?

""It's more mainstream, club and television dance music,"
Henderson-Mainor said of typical video game fare. "It's not underground
dance music. It's not like the stuff that we make. So they get cool
points having us being a part of this game."

ha ha, cool points with who exactly? roughly 5000 spotty white boys like me
worldwide? ha ha. techno is sooooo uncool its not even true!

techno is possibly the most uncool music right now. not that I care like, I
like it.
