A few goodies i picked up recently:
Keith Tucker "Detroit Saved My Soul" Seventh Sign
Excellent 12 from KT. 'It's a Mood' being the standout cut. Nice slow
moody techno. Side B sports a AUX style electro cut and another moody
slow techno track. Best detroit techno record of the year for me so far
(don't you just hate sweeping statements like that? :) )
The Sun God - Frantic Flowers 002
'Relics and artifacts' is a kinda wonky FM (?) synth sounding track,
probs harsher sounding than i'd normally go for. 'analog codes' is the
track that kills it for me on this 12 tho. to quote my girlfriend
"that'd sound great if you p*ssed around with it" :)
A.Greenman "Discoethique" - Soul Jazz
Really slow mellow house style (the first on in this series
"Microsolutions to Megaproblems", Rekid is also worth listening to)
Egyptian Lover - Party - Egyptian Lover Records
Ok he doesn't vary much in his style but Party is still a good track.
Freak Electrique - Fright Jazz - Viewlexx
The track Fright Jazz does it for me, 'spheric as they say.
