There was a fantastic review of DP's new album that went something along the 
lines of 'Daft Punk say that they recorded it in six weeks. What I wanna know 
is what the f*** they were doing for the first five weeks'

I think you're absolutely right, but the perception is probably that they're
house.

Tracky as in more tracks than the songs - and downtempo forays - of
Discovery - it could actually be a return to that earlier techno ethos.
One of my colleagues said it sounded like Daft Punk 'jammin'.
They are probably more DJ oriented than listening oriented than Discovery.
They  did it in a v short period and it just doesn't work for me, but I am
interested in other's opinions.
