ok, jokes aside, i always thought Homework was some sort of tribute album to Detroit, Chicago and New York...i mean, the references were pretty clear to me, and thats what made it enjoyable. to be honest, i used to listen to it when it had just come out, and this was when i was *just* starting to investigate electronic music, and way before listening to incunabula (which for me was like an epiphany)
