Doing the whole festival would be a stretch for Paxahau. It will certainly change them permanently, however well it turns out.
My concerns aren't about music selection, although I presume they would lean more in the direction of what they know well. My concern is about withstanding the endless backbiting and second-guessing in the scene, which can be an incredible time-waster. I thought KMS and his crew did quite a good job with almost no prep time. So Paxahau, with a lot more experience actually doing moderate sized events, should do fine with all the logistics as well. I wonder what financial resources they have and whether they are able to take a loss if that should happen. We owe Kevin a lot for taking the necessary step of moving to an entrance fee and laying it on the line about the real attendance nuimbers. Hart Plaza has been full every single year (sometimes too full), so it's not about the absolute numbers, it's about whether enough revenue can be generated to support what has generally been a decent event and sometimes a great one (especially when your friends get to play the main stage :) fh
