Plus Dennis Ferrer helped Damon Wild out in the past on his Stormwatch project, so it's more of a case of techno goes house goes techno with him. Joe Clausell has a mix CD out now with lots of techno on it, including that Ame track and a couple of Jeff Mills tunes. It also has a rubbish sci-fi concept with loads of pretentious guff in the insert about coming from another planet - very techno.
