listened the clips on rh, thought it was boring :P

>Kai Alce - Corner Manuvers - Real Soon

i think it's very understated like all of kai's work, it's greatness probably
dawns on you gradually...from the clips i really like both sides...really love
the bassy minimal approach and nice and simply cool-feeling keys on top, great
stuff for hot weather...i really love his beats, no one else makes em like that
(except, a little bit our own kamal stoddard...makes sense since they are
friends and both from atl)

>Anyone else picked anything up that's cool recently?

havent picked em up yet but my picks from new stuff this past week were

mark du mosch on keynote -- really love the warm housey track on the a-side!
the disco-y stuff is less original but also very nice and warm and smooth and
not far off from viewlexx etc

booka shade in white rooms on get physical -- just like the melody/feeling in
the original, dancefloor melancholy...and shinedoe's remix sounds a bit nuts
(out of key) but i like it, sounding like old detroit stuff a bit..

nothing else grabbed me, except for the first round of r&s represses
(tronikhouse, model 500, dave angel, a.r.t.)

when is UR gonna play in north carolina for peanuts (the actual nuts...they
grow here and virginia)...pffff they ain't underground
