Done. Some nice stuff up there I need to remember to get. Figured I may as well post mine here too. Didn't buy nearly as much this year as in recent years, but I think there were some wicked 12"s. Albums were harder to come by (or maybe just harder to justify). Herbert's 'Scale' wins the most slept on award. Haven't seen anyone mention it for months. It's definitely up there with 'Bodily Functions' and 'Around the House' for me. The stand-out tunes really stand out. Anyway... Artist of the year has to be Kuniyuki Takahashi. His release under his name, and the Koss record really stand out for me. People I'm watching in 2007: Kuniyuki, Pascal Schäfer, Jacek Sienkiewicz, Move D, The Mole and Marcellus Pittman. All of them have been pressing my buttons for a while now. I have a feeling there'll be lots of new blood this year too.
