I may be going off on a tangent here... I definitely agree with your last statement. But if only it was as simple as people being prejudiced (or not) because something has *not* been marketed to them... A couple of weeks back, when DJ Drama got busted by the RIAA I forwarded to some of the guys at work. I got a reply along the lines of "The death of hip-hop wouldn't be so bad. All that macho bullsh!t and guns and sh!t...". It was clear that this was prejudice against the entire genre because of the way a certain aspect of hip-hop *has* been marketed by the media. So, after my initial reaction (irritation), I resolved to try and do some edutaining - but that is another story. I am glad I got that off my chest :) Peace, N
