I'm afraid Dave has a tendancy of leaving labels on the wrong foot. Last
year, around the time Dave became a bi-monthly resident in the Fuse club, I
interviewed him there and although he was in a very good mood (which is not
always the case) he didn't want to talk about Bush. He had nothing good to
say about R&S either. Dave is a great artist, but moody sometimes. If I
recall well he said something about Bush owing him a lot of money. His
troubles with Bush are also the reason why he had to limit himself to
remixes in the past years. Furthermore those troubles are the reason why
Dave started focussing on dj-ing with the well-known result. I hope this
sheds a new light on this issue.

Greetings all, I'll be going home in half an hour, while most of the people
on the list (US) are still having breakfast. I'll read your mails tomorrow
when I get in.

John

313:
Bush was started by Eric Gooden and
Eric Powell. Though this way have changed
since, Dave Clarke (the man who did the
Red series) never was and never has been
involved in Bush records in any way other
than recording for them (gosh, i sound all
lawyerey :)) The names Dave Clarke and
Dave Clark are quite common, so just cos
ya see one and/or the other, don't automatically
assume it is the Dave Clarke who recorded
the Red series (he ain't on any mailing lists).
There is a Dave Clark on this
list, there is a Dave Clark(e) (can't remember
if he has the e on the end or not) that owns
Soma records, etc, etc. Andrew duke
