Yeah, that's the rub. I'd just rather chose which of the four I want if it's
a compilation. Arguably an album is a different case, but how many 4x12"
albums have there been... ever? It kind of holds true for 2x12" remix
releases as well. Why not release each 12" separately unless you're just
trying to extort another slab's worth out of the buyer? Even if I want both
of them then I'll just buy both of them - nothing lost. The guy who only
wants one of them has no option. And it's not like with remix 12"s there's
any preciousness to the collection as you might feel towards an album.
