Yeah...i guess part of it may come down to production costs, like you save on sleeves, and might get a cost-break with mastering & pressing places...but then, i think you probably sell more copies if you break it into seperate 12"s, because it seems that surely more people will buy the seperate 12"s than would buy the 2x12"..not sure...maybe it's just some experimenting with the marketplace...
@Ken, it's not on us to do it (the miranda re-iss), VEXT is Gerard's baby now (it's an official seperate side-label of down low now)...the first record is by me and ready to go tho, so it might be next if i don't sink it...Gerard is keeping everything pretty hush-hush though, I don't even know what he's got planned...
