I have a Urei 1603; I absolutely love it. 4 channels, smooth
crossfader + level faders, aux send/ return, 3 band full-cut warm,
colorful EQ.
I was trying to hold out for a Rane rotary MP2016 + expander, but
they are just too expensive for the home DJ. I put that money towards
studio gear instead.

The only disadvantage of a cheap mixer is that it doesn?t last as
long as
the more expensive mixers, the more expensive mixers are generally
better
built, the same applies for decks as well.

Inexpensive is realitive I guess, because $500 is a
lot of money for me. That is why I use Stanton
turntables as well...at least they aren't belt drive.
