Hmm. Hesitate to say this as I haven't heard it, but is it not possible that you're actully experiencing the nu-skool D&M 'overcompression' mastering aesthetic? I've noticed it a lot with their projects over the last few years. Sadly, the beautiful sense of proportion coupled with amazing clarity and impressive volume which we used to get from records which passed through their shop, seems to be harder to find nowadays ... My 2c.

Got my copy the other day and the pressing is terrible, really distorted. There is absolutely no way I could play this in a club....which i'm gutted about, cos there are some killer tracks on it. I have the single 12" on tresor which is fine. is this widespread or is it just an unlucky one off? it's mastered and pressed at D&M so i'm thinking it must be a mistake... Chris
