Hmm. Hesitate to say this as I haven't heard it, but is it not possible
that you're actully experiencing the nu-skool D&M 'overcompression'
mastering aesthetic? I've noticed it a lot with their projects over the
last few years. Sadly, the beautiful sense of proportion coupled with
amazing clarity and impressive volume which we used to get from records
which passed through their shop, seems to be harder to find nowadays ...

just wondering if anyone else has picked up the double vinyl of this on
Tresor? Got my copy the other day and the pressing is terrible, really
distorted. There is absolutely no way I could play this in a
club....which i'm gutted about, cos there are some killer tracks on it.
I have the single 12" on tresor which is fine. 

is this widespread or is it just an unlucky one off? it's mastered and
pressed at D&M so i'm thinking it must be a mistake...
