hmm, yeah i am kind of concerned about this as well. its alright to have some tracks mastered like that as an effect, but it can really lead to a competition to have all music be as non-dynamic as possible. this happened to drum and bass with their mastering and that stuff sounds ridiculous now. why did D&M go this way? tom
