i may agree or disagree, but that doesn't matter. that is an awfully closed minded thing to say, and I do believe that alot of what techno and creative music is about is having an open mind. If a director has an open enough mind to try Techno, then good for him.
I remember people cringing at orchestras playing with heavy metal bands...it may have not liked it very much, but i do appreciate the work that was put in to the result and the creativeness to give it a shot.
