With all the arguably justifiable Moby hating going on, was curious if anyone had actually listened to his new album and had any thoughts.
Just gave it a quick run through, sounds par for the course to me. It's pitch-perfect for a 1994 Moby album, ie: it's terrible. Lots of piano rolls and overpowering synth pads thrown at you from every location. Only thing it's missing is some Helium-Pitched chipmunk voice samples telling the raver massive to "dance!" "Disco Lies" is probably the best of the bunch, but that's not saying much. It's a good pop song though, and can get stuck in your head if you aren't careful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkEw3m_41ig Expect to see these songs on 800 TV commercials in 3...2...1.... Anyway now back to Rob Hood's Fabric, so I can wash the bad moby taste out of my ears. : ) -Arturo
