on second thought, it's not that i'm against pedestals, i think it's pretty silly to put kraftwerk on an imaginary mount rushmore of detroit techno. i say put mojo up there, which, in effect, includes kraftwerk, amongst other influences. in everything i've read on the subject, kraftwerk has only been listed as one of many influences, almost always sourced through mojo. heck, i think prince is more important to detroit techno than kraftwerk is!!!
