Hi Randy, It is highly likely that some router in the network is dropping the connection at some point in time. Maybe it is configured to close what it thinks are “idle connections”, connections that stay open for a longer period of time. This is the same problem you could have when working with 4D. Unfortunately I have little knowledge about routers. I am not a system administrator so I never need to configure routers. etc. The only network I maintain, is the one at my home. So I’m not the best person to ask such questions. One other thing you might want to check is whether the “automatic-reconnection” is enabled when calling “MySQL Connect”. Secondly I remember you once asking about using an SSH tunnel. In case you are using this, then it is another topic to investigate.
