Using the Spacebar + mouse down, on the Mac at least, seemed so common and familiar based upon drawing apps like Sketch, Affinity Designer, Affinity Photo, as examples. But it’s a becoming a bit more trouble than expected so I think I’ll just use another key(s) sequence.
