that is a workaround that could be worked around. the end user can always "click" a button (radio, checkbox) using the keyboard (spacebar).
I often get this question (should I move my object method to the form method), my answer is always "no", it is simply bad design. as already discussed, using "focus object" in the form method only makes sense if every single active object in the form is focusable. but some objects (3D buttons, picture field, not variables) are never focusable. the only safe way to do it is to scan all objects in the form method. the form method should primarily be used to handle events that are triggered at the form level.
