The object size that provided the impetus for Apple to fund OT V3 was
somewhere in the 3 - 4 MB range, IIRC. I wasn't part of the server
development group (I only got involved because I had evangelized OT at
PowerSchool) but maybe some of the other alumni could provide a more
accurate answer.
