Here is another 10.12 issue I ran into with v16.0. New network layer is not reliable on a WAN — many disconnects. And switching windows is super slow or there is a crash. Turn on legacy network and all is OK. This was on a new MackBook Pro with 10.12. I’m using 10.10 on an older MacBook Pro and develop with v12, v13, v14 and v16 with no issues. But with v16.0 I must use the new network. If I switch to legacy network things are OK until I drop into Design. Then CPU usage goes to 90% and stays that way. Even with zero windows open in Design it still takes 90% CPU. Switch to new network and it works great. CPU usage is a normal 2% while in Design. But for another user with the new MackBook Pro and 10.12 the new network is death. But switching to legacy network and he has no issues. So with 10.12 and new MacBook Pro you have to use legacy network with v16.0. But if you run 10.10 you have to use new network with v16.0. How strange is that? You would think it would be the other way around. So another example of 10.12 and 4D and new networking not playing well together. Sure hope they fix this soon.
