Thanks for the example.

It looks like a single svg image and then some dragging logic. Is that correct?

My intention is to draw on top of the image. So I am thinking I’ll just:

1. Make it clear I’m in drawing mode. This will prevent any of the underlying 
objects from firing any code.

2. I will keep the annotations as part of the svg image. But I”ll name them so 
that I can hide, show, edit, add to or  delete while in the drawing mode. I 
think I’d like to restore them for later use.

3. Solve whatever challenges come up - which they will!
