there are other software related issues keeping us from moving to an OS which is supported by (or supports) v17
currently we are on OS X 10.11.6 (El Capitan). I have 1 laptop I have moved to 10.13 (High Sierra) for testing. preliminarily, my systems seem to function under v16, I have not yet tried v17, but am confident that they should function with (if any) only minor tweaks, but there is other software that does not behave/like 10.13 that we need to be able to use. To update this software there are going to be costs for which there is currently insufficient funding available to acquire. so... stuck.
