The subject pretty much says it all. Anyone know how to tell View Pro to programmatically protect a sheet.
fyi... I basically have an excel template that I import into View Pro and then populate with data and save it back as an excel file. The excel file is then given to others that populate other parts of the sheet. I would like to turn the sheet protection on so that the data populated by 4D and any other protected cells are not accidentally modified. If I protect the sheet in excel, than I can't use 4D to populate the protected cells. I generate several hundred files so I don't want to do it manually.
