I think he doesn't touch a Linux system anymore at least in the coming 
two years...
To much waste of time for him and he finds Linux audio not user friendly 
enough.

Not saying it's your fault ;) It's just another example of trying things 
and another failure. He is not the type of guy who can deal with this 
kind of things or hasn't enough time for it.
