Below is a strange bug with Rosegarden, but I'm reporting it here as well as they seem to be drawing a blank.
With V 1.7.0 while in record mode RG crashes spectacularly when it gets a MIDI 'note-on' event. This happens regardless of whether the source is my sound card (2496), or from a virtual keyboard. I haven't found any other events that have the same effect. Mod Wheel, Pitch Wheel and program change all seem to be handled correctly. I have no problem with V 1.6.1 (so have dropped back to that for now). I'm running in Studio64 V2.1 rc2 on a dual core Athlon. Update. I've been able to pin this down a little more. This doesn't happen with a fresh install of debian 'lenny' but it does happen with 64studio V 2.1 - even if that is then upgraded to 'lenny'. I'm wondering if maybe there is some KDE library conflict.
