I will be short in time for the whole month and especial right now. I
will test GNOME and vkeybd tomorrow. I can't use the TerraTec MIDI
because there's missing some hardware.

Try to install a complete KDE if you have the space on your harddisk,
even if you only will use GNOME or another DE/WM. Do this just to check
out if it has to do with libs.
