I updated the BIOS,
removed the HDMI PCIe card,
changed the PCI slot for the TerraTec sound card,
disconnected the USB MIDI device,
tried to connect MIDI in by the TerraTec EWX 24/96 PCI sound card MIDI,
but the cable isn't correct wired and there's no information in the user
manual, how the cable has to be wired :(.
That's why I only tested an audio recording with Rosegarden. Nothing
changed for recording a WAV file, that's played by Totem Movie Player
and connected by QJackCtl to Rosegarden's inputs. After the recording is
stopped by Rosegarden's transport, Rosegarden crashes with a sigfault.
If there is no audio signal send, while recording, Rosegarden don't crash.
Can anybody please try to record a WAV with Rosegarden, played by Totem
Movie Player?
Does anybody know how the D-SUB 15 connector for the TerraTec sound card
has to be wired? It seems to be different to gameport MIDI devices, but
maybe the cable from the sound card to the D-SUB 15 connector is wrong,
I also have no informations hwo this connection has to be wired.
