Hi Christian :) if I have some time in the evening I'll try to write a howto.
Howto run jackd. Howto know jack client/port names by running jack_lsp. Howto edit a script by using an editor, so that jack_snapshot can connect hw inputs to jconv inputs jconf outputs to hw outputs I need information about your hardware IOs: Do you have a low latency soundcard or are you using an on-board soundcard? What hw number is your soundcard? If you will try this terminal only solution you need to install jackd jack_snapshot jconv If you will try a GUI solution with Orca you need jackd qjackctl jconv jack_lsp should be included in the jackd package, jack_snapshot is not available for 64 Studio, but easy to compile for every distro, it has no complex dependencies. If QjackCtl is fine with Orca, than there will be no need for the terminal only howto. See my mail from yesterday to download jack_snapshot or google, you will like it, even if Orca is fine with QjackCtl. Google and google.com/linux are always your friends. Cheers, Ralf
