You have to download the archive and to extract it. Than you have to
follow the INSATLL or README file. You might have to download some
dependency packages too.

You have to run ./configure, make, make install or just make, make
install, it's written in some of the files.

The same with jack_snapshot.

It could be hard work to compile Jconv, but it's easy to compile
jack_snapshot.

I've nearly forgotten. You need to install compiler packages, there
might be a option for Hardy to get evaluation or compiler packages, in a
group of packages, so that you don't have to get each compiler etc.
yourself.

See my older mails for jack_snapshot and the hint for 64 Studio and
Jconv, maybe you need this also for Hardy. Try to google if there is a
repository with a ready compiled Jconv. As I've written, for Suse it's
in the Packman repository.
