Hi Dave :)

for the latest version there seems to be the need to built it with
--enable-optimize, to prevent Linux Sampler to become unstable, for
systems where it was stable before. You misunderstood me. I was thinking
of systems that are unstable for audio and MIDI productions, like the
Linux I've got. It seems to be a problem of my hardware. I have several
Linux using jackd 0.109, also one 64 Studio 2.1 install. I've got two 64
Studio 2.1 installs. I've got troubles with 0.109 but I'm using 0.109,
because I first had troubles with 0.103. --> THAT'S why I guess the
latest jackd release 0.116.1 won't solve the problems I've got and
perhaps also not the problems that some other people have got.

Cheers,
Ralf
